HonestSetup ("we") is based in New Jersey, USA. A New Jersey limited liability company is being registered to operate HonestSetup; we'll name it here as soon as it is. Contact: support@honestsetup.com.
The short version
- Your quiz answers stay in your browser. We don't receive or store them. No ad trackers, no cookies for tracking, no local storage and no tracking pixels. We count visits with cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics (see below).
- Result links contain your answers. "Copy a link to my result" puts your answers in the link after the
#. Browsers don't send that part to our server, but anyone you share the link with can see your answers, and it stays in your browser history. - We only get your email if you give it to us (buying a kit once the kits are on sale, or emailing us).
- We never sell or share your information for advertising.

Companies that process data for us
- Stripe: payments (https://stripe.com/privacy)
- Cloudflare: hosting, email forwarding and cookie-free Web Analytics (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/)
- Google (Gmail): our support inbox. Email to support@honestsetup.com is forwarded there by Cloudflare Email Routing (https://policies.google.com/privacy)

Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. Each page loads one small Cloudflare script (from static.cloudflareinsights.com) for this, and it's the only thing the site loads from anywhere else. It's cookie-free: it counts page views and basic device, browser and country info without identifying you or tracking you across sites. It never sees your quiz answers, because those stay in the part of the link after the #, which browsers don't send. No ad trackers and no cookies for tracking. About Cloudflare Web Analytics
Health and client information
Don't send us health records, patient details or client files. The quiz asks only general yes/no questions, and those answers stay in your browser.
Your choices and rights
Email us to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your information. We'll reply within 30 days. We don't need a reason. Your rights are the same wherever you live, including California and New Jersey. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We don't track you across sites (our Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free and doesn't), so there's nothing to switch off.
Children
HonestSetup is for adults. You must be 18 or older to buy a kit. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We keep as little as possible. No method is perfect. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Changes
We'll update the date above. For big changes we'll note it on the homepage and email you if you're on our list.
